Community Guidelines
Our core values for building safe, authentic campus and local circles.
SURD brings together college students, campus circles, and local businesses. To preserve trust and quality, every member must treat others respectfully.
1. Respect & Inclusion
Harassment, personal attacks, hate speech, bullying, or intimidation of any form are strictly prohibited.
2. Anonymous Group Chat Ethics
Anonymity in SURD allows open campus dialogue without fear of judgment. However, anonymity must never be used to harm others. Doxxing (revealing someone's real identity, contact info, or private details) or spreading malicious rumors will result in an immediate permanent ban.
3. Safety & Prohibited Content
- No sexually explicit content, pornography, or non-consensual media.
- No promotion or depiction of self-harm or violence.
- No fraudulent schemes, scams, or illegal transactions.
4. Child Safety Standards (CSAE & CSAM Prevention)
SURD enforces an absolute zero-tolerance policy against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). Any account sharing or soliciting such content will be permanently banned immediately, and reports are proactively filed with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement authorities.
For more details, view our dedicated Child Safety Standards Policy.
