Child Safety Standards & CSAE Policy
SURD's policy and zero-tolerance commitment against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE).
1. Zero-Tolerance Policy Against CSAE & CSAM
SURD strictly prohibits any depiction, promotion, facilitation, or distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). We maintain an unconditional, zero-tolerance standard across all features of the application, including direct messaging, public feeds, community rooms, and anonymous groups.
Any account found attempting to share, solicit, or facilitate CSAM or CSAE will be immediately and permanently terminated without warning.
2. Proactive Detection, Moderation & Content Removal
To ensure our platform remains safe for all users:
- Automated & Manual Review: We monitor and review user-generated content and media uploads to identify and remove prohibited materials.
- Immediate Content Deletion: Any reported or detected harmful content is promptly purged from our databases and CDN servers.
- No Anonymity for Abuse: Anonymity within our group features cannot and will not protect violators. Malicious actors face immediate device, account, and IP-level bans.
3. Reporting to Law Enforcement & NCMEC
In strict compliance with applicable global child protection laws and regulations:
- When any evidence of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or exploitation is discovered, SURD will report the incident and associated metadata to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant local/international law enforcement authorities.
- We cooperate fully with verified law enforcement requests in legal investigations involving child safety.
4. In-App User Reporting Mechanisms
SURD provides real-time, user-facing reporting tools accessible on every piece of content:
- Flagging Inside Chats: Users can tap the report/flag option on any message to trigger an instant review in our moderation queue.
- Feed & Post Reports: Posts and comments feature an immediate report modal with clear categories for inappropriate content.
